Description

Des-n-Octanoyl-[Ser3]-Ghrelin (Human) is a peptide that belongs to the class of GHSR ligands. It is used in research for its ability to activate the ghrelin receptor, which is found on cells in the stomach lining and central nervous system. The binding of ghrelin to this receptor stimulates the release of growth hormone from the pituitary gland and increases appetite.
