Informations sur le produit
7-Methoxy-2-phenylquinolin-4-ol is an amino acid derivative that has been shown to be a potent inhibitor of the ns3 protease. It binds to the active site of the enzyme, blocking access to the substrate and preventing its hydrolysis. The molecule has been optimized for fluidity and template activity. 7-Methoxy-2-phenylquinolin-4-ol has been shown to inhibit the synthesis of HIV in vitro by binding to the ns3 protease, preventing the cleavage of viral RNA. It is currently being studied as a potential treatment for HIV infection in humans.
