It has been shown to inhibit endothelial cell proliferation in vitro, but it is not yet known whether this effect will translate to clinical efficacy. ENMD-1198 is currently undergoing phase I and II clinical trials for the treatment of breast cancer, prostate cancer, and other cancers. The drug has been shown to be well tolerated at doses up to 10 mg/kg, with no significant adverse reactions reported.
