Description :
8-Fluoro-3-(4-(4-fluorophenoxy)phenyl)-2-(4-methylpiperazin-1-yl)quinazolin-4(3H)-one is a potent and selective inhibitor of the M 3 muscarinic acetylcholine receptor. It binds to the receptor with high affinity and blocks ion channels, leading to a decrease in the release of neurotransmitters. 8-Fluoro-3-(4-(4-fluorophenoxy)phenyl)-2-(4-methylpiperazin-1-yl)quinazolin-4(3H)-one has been used as a research tool for studying protein interactions and structure/function relationships in ion channels.
