Description :Ilginatinib hydrochloride is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor that belongs to the group of targeted therapies. It blocks the activity of JAK2 (Janus kinase 2), which is associated with various types of cancers including myeloproliferative disorders and leukemia. Ilginatinib hydrochloride has been shown to be effective in the treatment of patients with chronic myelogenous leukemia who have a JAK2 V617F mutation. This drug also inhibits the growth factor signaling pathways, which leads to inhibition of cellular proliferation, differentiation, and survival. Symptoms may include fatigue, fever, weight loss, anemia, or infection. The molecular modeling study revealed that ilginatinib hydrochloride binds to the ATP-binding pocket in JAK2 V617F by forming hydrogen bonds with amino acid residues in this region.
