Description :
4-(Benzyloxy)-3-methoxyphenol is a natural product that belongs to the class of intramolecular acid catalysts. It reacts with an epoxide to form a ring-opened product, which is regioselective and efficient. This compound has been shown to have a wide range of biological activities, including inhibiting DNA synthesis and protein synthesis.
