Informations sur le produit
- N-[2,2-dimethyl propanoyl]para chloro aniline
- N-(4-chlorophenyl)-2,2-dimethylpropanamide
N-(4-Chlorophenyl)pivalamide is an organic compound that contains a tertiary amide functional group. It can be used as a precursor in the synthesis of a number of other organic compounds, including fluorinated esters and amides. The yield for this reaction is dependent on the temperature and can range from 0% to 100%. The mechanism for this reaction is radical chain reactions. It has been shown to have good selectivity towards tert-butyl radicals over benzene radicals. N-(4-Chlorophenyl)pivalamide can also be produced by fluorination of n-butylamine with elemental fluorine at room temperature, followed by elimination of hydrogen fluoride with potassium hydroxide.
