Informations sur le produit
- Piperidine, 4-bromo-
4-Bromo-piperidine hydrochloride is a competitive inhibitor of the CCR5 receptor. It is effective against HIV-1 and HIV-2, as well as other retroviruses. 4-Bromo-piperidine hydrochloride has been shown to inhibit the activity of HDACs in vitro and in vivo, which may be due to its ability to bind to the chloride ion site on HDACs. 4-Bromo-piperidine hydrochloride also inhibits the synthesis of proteins by binding to electron acceptors such as chloride ions or carbonyl groups. The effect on these functional groups depends on pH, with an increase in pH causing increased inhibition.
