Description

(S)-N-(4-(4-Ethylmorpholin-2-yl)-2-methylphenyl)-4-isopropylbenzenesulfonamide is a potent, selective and noncompetitive inhibitor of the voltage-gated potassium channel Kv1.3. It has been shown to inhibit the activation of these channels by acetylcholine in rat brain tissue. This compound may be used as a research tool for studying ion channels, as well as for developing new drugs that target them. (S)-N-(4-(4-Ethylmorpholin-2-yl)-2-methylphenyl)-4-isopropylbenzenesulfonamide is not an antibody or peptide, which are typically used to study protein interactions and cell biology respectively.
