Informations sur le produit
4-[(1E)-2-[5,6-Dihydro-5,5-dimethyl-8-(2-phenylethynyl)-2-naphthalenyl]ethenyl]benzoic Acid (4B) is a fatty acid that has been shown to inhibit HIV infection by binding to the CD4 receptor. 4B is also an inhibitor of fatty acid synthase and human endometrial cells. It has been shown to bind with high affinity to monoclonal antibodies against the CD4 receptor as well as monoclonal antibodies against human endometrial cells. 4B has been found in wastewater samples, suggesting that it may have applications in water treatment. 4B also inhibits cancer cell growth and proliferation, which is likely due to its ability to bind to growth factors such as insulin and IGF-1.
