2’2’-Cgamp sodium is a ligand that activates the G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) CXCR4. The binding of 2’2’-Cgamp sodium to its receptor induces a conformational change in the receptor, which leads to opening of the ion channel. This allows ions such as calcium and potassium to flow into the cell, altering its excitability. 2’2’-Cgamp sodium has been used in research studies on cell biology, pharmacology, and biochemistry. It has also been used as an inhibitor in antibody production.
