• Description: KCC 07 is a synthetic peptide that inhibits the VEGF pathway by functioning as an antagonist to VEGF receptors. It has been shown to inhibit tumor growth and improve survival in mice with glioma, a type of brain tumor. KCC 07 also has anti-angiogenic properties and can inhibit the proliferation of endothelial cells. The peptide can be used as an antibody that binds to the extracellular domain of the receptor, preventing binding to VEGF ligand. This inhibition leads to decreased activation of VEGF receptors and decreased cell proliferation.
