Description :SKLB-23bb is a small molecule that inhibits the polymerization of microtubules. It inhibits the assembly and stability of microtubules by binding to tubulin, preventing the formation of stable polymers. SKLB-23bb has been shown to be effective in inhibiting tumor growth in xenografts in mice. It also inhibits the proliferation of cancer cells, but not normal cells, which may be due to its ability to inhibit gene transcription. This drug also has a number of modifications, such as a hydroxy group, that allow it to be orally administered and modified with colchicine.
