Description :
(rac)-Mirabegron d5 is an ion channel activator. It is a potent, selective, and orally active agonist of the beta-3 adrenergic receptor (AR). The affinity of (rac)-mirabegron for the beta-3 AR was found to be 10-fold higher than for the beta-1 and beta-2 ARs. In binding studies, it was shown that (rac)-mirabegron binds to the beta-3 AR with high affinity and selectivity in rat cortical membranes. This ligand has been used as a research tool to study protein interactions, cell biology, pharmacology, and peptide synthesis.
