Description :
The 2-Propynoic acid, 3-(trimethylsilyl)-, ethyl ester is an anti-proliferative compound and has been shown to inhibit the production of aldehydes, a byproduct of lipid peroxidation in cells. This molecule also has immunosuppressive properties and can be used as a drug to suppress inflammation. The 2-Propynoic acid, 3-(trimethylsilyl)-, ethyl ester has been found to have a catalytic effect on reductive coupling reactions. It also inhibits calcium homeostasis and may be used for treating diseases such as atherosclerosis.
