Informations sur le produit
Ethyl 6-methoxy-2-oxo-2H-chromene-3-carboxylate is a diastereoselective coumarin derivative that can be synthesized in two steps. The first step is the Diels-Alder reaction of ethyl 2,6-dimethoxybenzoate with ethyl α-(4,4'-diphenylcyclohexane)-p-cresol to form an adduct. The second step is the addition of bromine to the double bonds of the adduct and reduction of the resulting product with zinc. This process produces a chalcone derivative.
