Description

Koaburaside monomethyl ether is a synthetic tyrosinase inhibitor that has been shown to scavenge reactive oxygen species and inhibit tyrosinase activity. This compound has been studied for its ability to prevent melanogenesis, which may be due to the inhibition of acetate extract and the antioxidative properties of this compound. Koaburaside monomethyl ether also has anti-inflammatory properties, which may be due to its ability to inhibit quillaja saponaria.
