Description :Cdk4 Inhibitor II, NSC 625987 is a small molecule that inhibits the activity of Cyclin-Dependent Kinase 4 (Cdk4) in vitro and in vivo. Cdk4 inhibitor II has been shown to inhibit cell proliferation in vitro and to have anti-tumor effects in vivo. Cdk4 inhibitor II can be used for the treatment of cancer, including breast cancer. This drug has inhibitory properties on transcriptional regulation and growth factor signaling pathways, which induces neuronal death by inhibiting the phosphorylation of extracellular signal regulated kinase 1/2. Cdk4 inhibitor II is also known to induce apoptosis through caspase activation, as well as inhibiting angiogenesis and inducing cellular senescence.
