Description :BAL 30072 is a long-chain fatty acid that is used as an antimicrobial agent. It has been shown to have a broad spectrum of activity against gram-negative bacteria, including P. aeruginosa and Stenotrophomonas maltophilia. BAL 30072 inhibits the growth of these microbes by altering the mitochondrial membrane potential and inhibiting the production of energy-generating molecules. This compound also has been shown to have clinical efficacy in treating infections caused by gram-negative bacteria, such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Stenotrophomonas maltophilia, in animal models.br>br>This product is not intended for use in humans.
