6-(Acetyloxy)-2-naphthoic acid is a monomer that belongs to the group of isomeric compounds. It has a chemical structure that contains an acetyl group, which consists of two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom. This compound can be synthesized from sodium hydroxide solution and acetyl chloride. 6-(Acetyloxy)-2-naphthoic acid can be crystallized in different forms such as needles, plates, or prisms.
