Description

tert-Butyldichloro(phenyl)silane is a compound that belongs to the group of imidazoles. It has been found to have antiviral activity against herpes simplex virus type 1 and influenza A virus in vitro. It also inhibits the synthesis of cyclic nucleotides, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the enzyme involved in this process.
