Informations sur le produit
5-Amino-1-methylquinolin-1-ium iodide (5AMQ) is a molecule that inhibits the activity of SIRT1, which is a class III histone deacetylase. It is used to study the biological function of SIRT1 and to develop drugs for treating metabolic disorders such as hepatic steatosis and insulin resistance. 5AMQ has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells in vitro and in vivo by suppressing cellular proliferation. It also induces apoptosis by inhibiting the production of proteins necessary for cell division.
