6-(Cyclopropylamino)-1,3,5-triazine-2,4-diol (CATD) is a nucleotide that functions as a coenzyme in the metabolic pathways of vitamins, amino acid metabolism and carbohydrate metabolism. CATD is essential for energy metabolism and glycan biosynthesis. It interacts with mouse metabolites to form glycan structures. CATD participates in glycan biosynthesis by facilitating the transfer of sugar moieties from one glycogen molecule to another. CATD can also be used to produce glucose by converting glucosyl units into glucose molecules.
