Description

Dehydrosoyasaponin I is a chemical compound that belongs to the group of saponins. It has been shown to have a strong inhibitory effect on bedbugs, which may be due to its ability to activate potassium channels. Dehydrosoyasaponin I also has an anti-diarrheal effect in animal studies and has been shown to be effective as a dietary supplement for the treatment of chronic diarrhea. The major active substances in this chemical are dehydrosoya saponins and the chromium picolinate. This compound is extracted from soybean by gel chromatography and purified by vacuum distillation or organic solvent.
