Description :
Tol-SDP is a chiral ligand that catalyzes the asymmetric synthesis of piperidine and quinoxaline derivatives in high yields. Tol-SDP has been shown to be effective in the catalytic asymmetric synthesis of amines and heterocycles, such as pyridines, indoles, and benzofurans. It also has been used for the conversion of anilines to olefins. The stereogenic nature of this ligand provides the possibility for rationalizing its catalytic activity. The ligand can bind to metal ions through its nitrogen atom and its sulfur atom can bind to nucleophiles due to its sulfur atom.
