Informations sur le produit
MPC 6827 hydrochloride is a potent antitumor agent. It binds to the receptor molecule, which is located on the mitochondrial membrane potential, and inhibits the synthesis of ATP by inhibiting electron transport. MPC 6827 hydrochloride has been shown to inhibit cancer cell proliferation in vitro. This drug also has high specificity for solid tumours, such as breast and prostate cancers. MPC 6827 hydrochloride has been shown to bind with hydrogen bonds to coumarin derivatives in aqueous solution. The mechanism of this drug's action on cancer cells is not fully understood, but it may be due to its ability to inhibit glycolysis at the level of pyruvate kinase.
