Description :CP-863187 is a potent, selective, and orally bioavailable tyrosine kinase inhibitor with anti-cancer activity. CP-863187 inhibits the growth of cancer cells by blocking the activity of the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and its downstream signaling pathways that regulate cell proliferation and apoptosis. CP-863187 has been shown to inhibit mutant EGFR in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) cells. CP-863187 also blocks the activities of other tyrosine kinases involved in NSCLC, including MET, AXL, RET, and KIT. CP-863187 has been shown to be safe in animal studies and is currently being evaluated for use in humans as a targeted therapy for EGFR mutant NSCLC.
