Description

Isopropylisostearate is a glycol ether that is used as a cross-linking agent in the production of polyester resins. It has been shown to form an insoluble polymer film when mixed with a film-forming polymer, such as polyurethane or epoxy. Isopropylisostearate is also used in detergent compositions for its ability to clean oil and grease from surfaces.
