2,3-Dimethoxypyrazine is a heterocycloalkyl compound with a pyridyl group at the 2-position. It is used as an initiator for the polymerization of polyurethane and polyacrylate resins. 2,3-Dimethoxypyrazine has been shown to be effective in treating chronic neuropathic pain and cancer. It was also found to be an effective disinfectant for tissues and surgical instruments.
