Description :
3-Acetyl-7-fluorochromen-2-one is a coumarin derivative that inhibits the activity of telomerase, an enzyme that adds DNA repeats to the ends of chromosomes. It has shown high activity against cancer cells in vitro and in vivo. 3-Acetyl-7-fluorochromen-2-one also inhibits the growth of human cancer cells and prevents the formation of new blood vessels by inhibiting connective tissue growth factor (CTGF).
