2-Anilino-4,6-di(4-morpholinyl)-1,3,5-triazine is a polymerase chain inhibitor that binds to the dna binding domains of histone deacetylases (HDACs) and prevents the formation of complexes with transcription factors. The drug has been shown to be active against breast cancer cells in vitro. 2-Anilino-4,6-di(4-morpholinyl)-1,3,5-triazine inhibits the activity of HDACs by binding to their zinc fingers and preventing the release of acetyl groups from the histones. This drug also has a high melting point and can be used in fabricating or manufacturing thermally stable materials and films.
