Informations sur le produit
- dibutyl (2H4)benzene-1,2-dicarboxylate
Dibutyl phthalate-3,4,5,6-d4 (DBP-d4) is a metabolite of dibutyl phthalate (DBP). The concentration of DBP-d4 in urine samples has been shown to be a reliable indicator for exposure to DBP. DBP-d4 can be used as an analytical tool for wastewater treatment plants. It is measured by ultra-high performance liquid chromatography and the matrix effect is negligible. The enzyme activities are also unaffected by the presence of other metabolites or chemicals in the sample. This compound has been shown to have health effects on organisms such as humans and other mammals that may lead to reproductive toxicity and teratogenic effects. DBP-d4 can also act as an agonist with respect to some receptors, such as oestrogen receptors, which could lead to hormonal imbalances in mammals.
