Description :
Tolfenpyrad-benzoic acid is a synthetic antibiotic that is structurally different from other antibiotics. It has been shown to have activity against bacteria, fungi, and viruses. Tolfenpyrad-benzoic acid inhibits the synthesis of proteins and nucleic acids by binding to the ribosomal RNA in the 30S subunit of the bacterial ribosome. It also prevents viral replication by inhibiting DNA polymerase in the virus's DNA replication process. Tolfenpyrad-benzoic acid is not active against parasites such as Plasmodium falciparum or Entamoeba histolytica.
