Description

DWK-1339 is a benzofuran derivative with pharmacokinetic properties that resemble those of the benzodiazepine class of drugs. It has been shown to have a good oral absorption and low systemic clearance, which may make it suitable for use in patients with impaired or reduced kidney function. DWK-1339's duration of action is between 8 and 12 hours in animals, and its elimination half-life is approximately 10 hours. The drug also has a high affinity for red blood cells, tissues, and muscle tissue.
