• Description: Alfa-phthalimidopropiophenone is a synthetic psychostimulant that is structurally related to amphetamine. The symptoms of alfa-phthalimidopropiophenone are similar to those of other stimulants, including amphetamine and cocaine, but it does not appear to produce euphoria or addiction. Alfa-phthalimidopropiophenone has been shown to inhibit dopamine and serotonin reuptake and to cause an increase in dopamine levels in the brain. This drug also inhibits microbial metabolism, which may lead to toxicological problems.
