Description :
3,4-Dimethyl-3-hexanol is a linear aliphatic hydrocarbon that can be found in many different types of organic solvents. 3,4-Dimethyl-3-hexanol is analysed using chromatographic methods and the results are then used to calculate the viscosity of the liquid. It has been shown that this chemical reacts with oxygen to produce an aldehyde or an alcohol. 3,4-Dimethyl-3-hexanol has also been shown to have a high kinetic constant and a low viscosity.
