Myricetin 3-β-glucoside is a flavonol glycoside that has been shown to have antioxidative properties. It has also been shown to have significant cytotoxicity against human keratinocytes and hk-2 cells, as well as inhibitory activity against the CB2 receptor. Myricetin 3-β-glucoside has been shown to be neuroprotective in animal models of Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's disease, and may be useful for the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's disease. In addition, myricetin 3-β-glucoside can inhibit proliferation of human colon cancer cells by inducing apoptosis.
