Informations sur le produit
- Benzaldehyde, 3-(4-chlorophenoxy)-
- m-(p-Chlorophenoxy)benzaldehyde
3-(4-chlorophenoxy)benzaldehyde is a fatty acid that has been shown to be useful in treating neuropathic pain and tuberculosis. It is synthesized by the hydrolase activity of an enzyme called fatty acid amide hydrolase (FAAH), which degrades endocannabinoids such as anandamide, resulting in anti-neuropathic effects. The spirocyclic ring system of 3-(4-chlorophenoxy)benzaldehyde has also been shown to have antitubercular activity against Mycobacterium tuberculosis. This compound can be activated by ethanolamide, leading to its use as a cellular amide.
