Informations sur le produit
1-Hydroxy-2-oxo-1,2-dihydropyridine-4-carboxylic acid is an analog of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) that binds to the GABAA receptor and inhibits neurotransmitter binding. It has been shown to induce autophagy in mammalian cells by activating AMP kinase, which leads to increased energy efficiency. This compound also shows antihypertensive effects in humans and may be useful in treating wounds. 1-Hydroxy-2-oxo-1,2-dihydropyridine-4-carboxylic acid is structurally similar to hyaluronic acid and fatty acids. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of bacteria such as Nasturtium officinale and Pseudomonas aeruginosa through binding to bacterial cell walls.
