Informations sur le produit
4-Isopropoxy-2-methylbenzonitrile (IPMB) is a fungicide that inhibits the respiratory complex I and II in the mitochondrial electron transport chain. It has a broad spectrum of activity against fungi and has been shown to be effective against respiratory fungal infections such as aspergillosis, bronchiectasis, and sinusitis. IPMB also inhibits succinate dehydrogenase, leading to an accumulation of succinic acid in cells. This accumulation leads to increased oxidative stress and cell death in many types of cells including those found in the respiratory tract.
