Description :
(2S,3S)-3-Amino-N-cyclopropyl-2-hydroxyhexanamide Hydrochloride is a compound that is used industrially in the synthesis of other compounds. It can be made by reacting epichlorohydrin with a dibenzylamine and hydrogenating the product. The hydrogenation process produces a racemic mixture of (2S,3S)-3-amino-N-cyclopropyl-2-hydroxyhexanamide hydrochloride and (2R,3R)-3-amino-N-cyclopropyl-2-hydroxyhexanamide hydrochloride.
