3-(Diethylamino)pyrrolidine is a pyrrolidine derivative that acts as a 5-HT1B receptor agonist. It has been shown to have both antidepressive and antiaggressive effects, although it does not appear to be an effective antidepressant. 3-(Diethylamino)pyrrolidine is also used in the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders, such as irritable bowel syndrome, and has been shown to be effective in treating lymphoblastic leukaemia. This drug has been found to act as a 5-HT1B receptor agonist and is structurally related to other drugs that are used in the treatment of psychiatric disorders.
