Description

CHZ868 is an inhibitor that has been shown to have potential as a diagnostic and therapeutic agent for cancer, chronic exposure, autoimmune diseases, leukemias, and other diseases. It blocks the function of Janus kinases 2 (JAK2) and 3 (JAK3) in cancer cells. This inhibition causes a decrease in the production of cytokines such as inflammatory cytokine tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), which can lead to symptoms of inflammation. CHZ868 has also been shown to be effective in vivo against inflammatory diseases by reducing the production of inflammatory cytokines such as TNF-α and interleukin-6 (IL-6).
