Informations sur le produit
Dimethyl hex-2-enedioate is a synthetic pyrrole that is an intermediate in the biosynthesis of many natural products including amino acids, nucleosides and vitamins. The synthesis of this compound is based on the acid-catalysed reaction between ethylene and chloroform to form a complex with two chloride ions.
The kinetic studies of this reaction have shown that the rate of conversion is dependent on temperature, concentration and water molecule. Dimethylamine can act as a catalyst for this reaction, forming stereospecific products. This product may also be synthesized by using enzymes to convert amines into dimethyl hex-2-enedioate.
