• Description: Aflatrem is a secondary metabolite that is isolated from the fungus Aspergillus flavus. It is a natural product, which has been shown to be a potent immunosuppressive agent. Aflatrem inhibits the production of inflammatory cytokines, such as TNF-α and IL-1β, and also inhibits the expression of HLA class II molecules on antigen presenting cells. This compound also has anti-tumor activity and can reduce the growth of tumor cells in vitro.
