Description :2-Fluoro-2-methylpropyl trifluoromethanesulfonate is a transfer agent that is used in organic synthesis. It can be used as an enolate or alkylating agent, and has been used to synthesize the 2-fluoroethyl derivative of benzaldehyde. The addition of lithium diisopropylamide (LDA) will convert this reagent into a dimeric form.
