Description :1-(Phenylcarbamoyl)cyclopropanecarboxylic acid is a molecule that has been shown to have antitumor activity. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells in a number of in vitro and in vivo studies. The crystal structure of 1-phenylcarbamoyl-cyclopropanecarboxylic acid was determined using single-crystal x-ray analysis, and it was found that this molecule exhibits an optimized electrostatic surface potential. This molecule also exhibits strong hydrogen bonding interactions with morpholine molecules, which may contribute to its anti-cancer properties. 1-(Phenylcarbamoyl)cyclopropanecarboxylic acid interacts with DNA by binding to the minor groove on the outside of the helix and disrupting DNA replication or transcription.
