Raf1 Kinase Inhibitor I is an inhibitor of mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) and it inhibits Raf1 kinase activity. It has been shown to inhibit the production of inflammatory cytokines, such as colony-stimulating factor and chemokines, in bronchial epithelial cells. Raf1 Kinase Inhibitor I is also a potent inhibitor of neutrophil recruitment by blocking the activation of NF-κB. Raf1 Kinase Inhibitor I was shown to have antitumor activity in some cell lines and may be useful for the treatment of cancer or inflammatory diseases.
