Description

Pyribambenz-propyl is a herbicide that inhibits the activity of the enzyme acetolactate synthase, which is essential for the biosynthesis of branched-chain amino acids in plants. Pyribambenz-propyl inhibits the growth of weeds by interfering with their ability to produce essential amino acids, leading to their death.
