Informations sur le produit
1-tert-Butyl 2-methyl 2-methylpiperidine-1,2-dicarboxylate is an organic compound with a chemical formula of (CH)C(CH)COOC(CH)SiMe. It is a desilylating agent that can be used in organic synthesis for the removal of silyl groups from alkenes. The desilylation reaction proceeds via nucleophilic attack at the carbon atom adjacent to the silyl group. This process yields the corresponding carbonyl compound and an azoisobutyronitrile (AIBN). The carbonyl group can be further derivatized by refluxing in toluene or ozonolysis.
